The Inverness Early Years Co-op's mission is to create a single access point for the whole community to provide an array of services and programs – all supporting families and caregivers to help our children realize their unique potential throughout their lives as members of their community.
The Inverness Early Years Co-op will integrate and coordinate comprehensive prenatal programs, maternal support, developmental assessments, early intervention, play based early learning programs, childcare, parenting programs, and guidance to help families find the resources they need for their children’s health and development.
The Inverness Community Leadership Center is the result of 3 years of collaborative community development between the Inverness Early Years Co-op and the Inverness Cottage Workshop to respond to the emerging needs of central Inverness county.
This dynamic partnership is ensuring healthy human development from the start for all citizens through individual and collective creativity, compassion, and responsibility.
The IEYC will provide a universally accessible hub for families and care givers with responsive and affordable services and programs will strengthen the foundation for Inverness's revitalization. With the jobs emerging in our region from an aging workforce and new jobs as a result of developments like Cabot Links, all families will have the option to offer their children a community based, nurturing, language rich, play based environment to learn and grow in.
